Common Issues with 2FA and How to Fix

My Google Authenticator codes don’t work

It may be because the time isn’t correctly synced on your Google Authenticator app.

To set the correct time on Android Phones:

  1. On your Android device, go to the main menu of the Google Authenticator app.
  2. Tap More More and then Settings and then Time correction for codes and then Sync now.

On the next screen, the app confirms the time has been synced. You should be able to sign in. The sync will only affect the internal time of your Google Authenticator app, and will not change your device’s Date & Time settings.

  • On iOS (iPhone):

  1. Go to the iPhone Settings App. (your phone settings area);

  2. Select General;

  3. Select Date & Time;

  4. Enable Set Automatically;

  5. If it is already enabled, disable it, wait a few seconds and re-enable.

I lost/replaced my phone - how can I reset the Authentication?

To reset a Users Auth Key with FlowLogic, follow the steps here: Reset a Users 2FA

I clicked the option to "Remember for x days" but I get prompted every time for Authentication

If you have selected the option to “Remember Authentication”, but FlowLogic still asks you to Authenticate using 2FA every time you login, it could be because you have Cookies blocked on your device.

Cookies are a small text file that gets stored on your device to remember what you have done, and if you have them blocked on your device, FlowLogic wont be able to store the successful Authentication file.

To enable cookies, or to check that they are enabled, follow the steps on the Enabling Cookies for your Browser page.
