Global Search

Global Search Explained

The Global search bar allows you to be able to search for key words within the FlowLogic System. This is restricted to searching the records that you have access too.

Global Search Right

The ability to view the Global Search is provided as a right labelled “globe_search” 

Once assigned you will see the Global Search bar displayed on your dashboard as shown below.

Using the Global Search feature

Selecting the “Click here” will display a step by step guide on how to use the Global search Feature.

Step 1: Welcome to the new Flowlogic Search, Enter at least 3 characters here to search.

Step 2: Press this button or press enter to begin your search.

Step 3: Press this button on supported browsers to allow you to use your microphone to dictate your search. 

Step 4: Filters can be removed from this area by clicking the cross on the right.

Step 5: Filters can be reset back to defaults by clicking here.

Step 6: Multiple filter types can be selected at once!

Step 7: An optional date range can be selected here. Both dates are optional and are useful to narrow down your search.

Step 8: Date range types work in conjunction with date range below, one or both can be selected.

Step 9: An optional area or multiple areas can be selected by using the dropdown, tip: you can click and then start typing to search within the areas!

Step 10: As with the areas, you can select an optional Form or multiple forms to narrow down your search.

Step 11: Search results are shown in tabular format here with the number of results in brackets, note: results are currently limited to 1500 of each type.

Step 12: Search results can be sorted by many different options.

Step 13: Search results are shown here in blocks of 5.

Step 14: Click here to navigate to the record in a new window.

Step 15: Results are paginated in lots of 5, tip: you can swipe left and right on mobile devices.
