Roster Rights

The Roster can be accessed via the left-hand menu in Flowlogic. The roster is available to all users by default however what they can view within the roster is controlled by a selection of rights. 

By default, staff with a staff record linked to their user will be able to see only their own shifts unless further access via rights has already been provided.

Admin  roster_manage_costs Roster: Manage Costs  Allows management of resource cost categories (requires roster_admin)
Admin  roster_admin Roster: Administrator  Access administrative functions

Staff Permission Levels

The below table outlines how the various permission levels relate to the visibility of roster “Staff”. Please note that the currently logged in staff member can always see themselves when creating or editing a shift or viewing a schedule (unless filtered out).

 Own  The logged in staff member only  “Open” shifts can also be made visible to staff via a system setting.
 Sites  All staff assigned to user’s sites + logged in staff member  Staff site retrieved from linked roster resource record.

Client Permission Levels

The below table outlines how the various permission levels relate to the visibility of clients within the roster.

 Permission Level  Staff Shown  Comments
 Own Clients marked as “Preferred” or “Acceptable” for the logged in user Refer to resource suitability within this guide for more information
 Sites All clients assigned to user’s sites Client site retrieved from roster resource (not linked record). Clients can be restricted further to only those with linked records to which the user has read access
 All
