System Logs

System Log types

As a Flowlogic Admin you will have access to the system logs menu, located next the system menu. These are broken into User Logs; Geo Logs; Mail Logs and Inbox Admin.

 

 

User Logs

The User Logs are a comprehensive action log system. They record every action completed by each user, with a timestamp and details of what action was performed.

You will need to filter to a specific user and date range for the log, if you are using this to investigate specific incidents it would be best to find the smallest date range possible. You can also choose to ignore background requests which are not active actions the user is completing.

 


The logs are then split into two sections:

The Access Logs are an overview of which records the user has accessed. Similar to the access tab found in records.

 

The System Logs will record all actions performed by the user.

 

 

From Right to left; Log ID; Timestamp; Username; emulation (if another user had switched to this one using the super user switcher); I.P and Node address; view (area in the system the user is in); Async; Session ID (unique to each instance of login);Message; Data (either get(view) or post(action)) and Level.

Geo Logs

The Geo logs record any geographical information in regards to the users location. This will allow you to see where your users are accessing the system and what device/ browser they are using.

 

Mail Logs

The mail logs will record any emails sent via the system both internally and externally. It will allow you to view the message and attachments and additionally will allow you to delete unwanted emails as well (if they have not be viewed).

Inbox Admin

All messages sent within the system are viewable here, these will be for any other message that is not an emails. This will allow you to see any messages in case of complaints or HR incidents. This section also provides the ability to delete any message sent through the system,
