NDIS Price Guide Updates

The FlowLogic system maintains an up to date NDIS Price Guide at all times. The maintenance of this entails that a Data Captain will access your system following an update and upload the most recent changes to the price guide.

This however can cause issues whereas any custom pricing on line items will be overwritten if the correct processes aren’t followed. The processes in question will be listed below.

Locking Service Items

Importing a new NDIS price guide will overwrite any custom items and/or prices that you may have configured. Because of this, Admins may want to lock their custom service items that they do not want altered, before importing a new NDIS price guide.

To prevent automatic service item updates:

  1. Navigate to your NDIS service items list on your system via Finance and Payroll > Service Items.

  1. Click Edit on the item you would like to lock down.

  1. Click the Automatic Price Updates dropdown and select No.

  1. Click Save Item at the bottom of the page.

Uploading a New Price Guide

In FlowLogic, you may mass-import a CSV file of a price guide to overwrite and update all current service item pricing, if you are a SUPERADMIN user.

This is a service your Data Captain team will perform every time a new Price Guide update is released by the NDIS.

Tip: Please ensure you have the necessary Service Regions configured before beginning the price guide import process.

WARNING: This procedure will overwrite any custom service item prices you may have set. Refer to “Locking Service Items” to see how you can prevent item prices from being overwritten.

  1. Navigate to your NDIS service items list on your system via Finance and Payroll > Service Items.

  1. Click Add Item dropdown > Import NDIS Price Guide.

  1. The latest price guides have been preloaded into FlowLogic. Select your appropriate price guide from the dropdown list.

  1. Select the NDIS Price Region you would like to import from the Pricing Region dropdown list.

Select the Region. If there are no existing price regions, create one via Regions > Add Region.
